During the First World War, and even into the Second, many European Armies issued their other ranks with standing collar, half placket shirts to wear under their uniform jackets. The Soldat is a tribute to this, and is patterned off of an original loaned to us by a collector.
The Soldat is generally customizable to fit whatever need/impression you may have. Generally made from a cotton flannel, these are cut very long (as were most European service shirts) to also double as a night shirt.
PLEASE NOTE: once you have purchased the garment, it will take up to 90 days for us to make it, and ship it out to you. These are not ready made and sitting in our store ready to ship. Also, fabric colors are entirely dependent upon what we have access to. Once we receive your order, we’ll reach out to you to get specifics with regard to fabric.
