The Women’s Army Auxillary Corps was formed in 1942, and was eventually integrated into the US Army as the Women’s Army Corps in 1943. While it was the WAAC, the women’s uniforms had their service specific buttons, and we’ve come into possession of a large quantity of original bakelite buttons.
